Like the place name, this is the place where you find monkeys all over, which are smart enough to get the banana that you try to hide. You will find hundred of monkeys usually stroll around the temple grounds. If you are a pet lover, you might want to give the monkey for food. Near in the front of the locket, you would find banana merchants. You might eat the banana for yourself of course :)

Be careful, though, when you give the banana to the monkey. They could become aggressive sometimes. But you don’t have to worry, the security there always stand-by if they become aggressive.

You should not miss this because you’ll be experiencing personally with thousands of monkey families that will approach you and grabbing something that you are carrying. So don’t forget to secure the things you carry though. Place your things such as pendant, hand phone, shawl, scarf, sunglasses, necklace in your bag so that you could only focus to secure the bag.

Don’t hurt or hit the monkey, because they are family oriented type. This would make other monkey come and attack you.

But wait, it is not about the monkey only. This place have beautiful temple scattered across the park. You’ll need to wear what it called “Sarung” (kind of cloth you wear around your waist through to the leg) to enter the temple. Don’t enter the temple though during your menstruation period, it’s forbidden because this is a Balinese Hindu sacred place.

You’ll definitely won’t miss making some beautiful pictures of temple, statue and bridge along with the monkey of course.
